Removing engine on Ford Aspire
hi,
I need to remove engine on a 1996 Ford Aspire.
Can this be removed without removing trans with it.
Please say yes, so I wont have to remove those axles.
thanks

Removing house paint from car
Greetings,
I have a Black 2006 Ford F-150. Just last week, my neighbor painted
his home on a windy day. Need I say more. This idoit got paint all
over my vehicle and to make matters worse, the paint dry over the past
few days. Just baking in the summer heat. Is there anything I can do?
I’ve tried washing the vehicle with a pressure washer, but did not
remove a spot.
I’ve taken pictures for legal reason, for ths dumb a-hole going to pay!
Please help.
Thanks,
1996 Mazda 626 2.0 CD4E Transmission failure – need help
Right off, I’m well aware of the weakness of the CD4E trans but I picked
this car up cheap enough that I’m prepared to install a rebuild if
needed. Before I spend the big bucks I would like to confirm the worst –
here’s what I know:
1. Car will not move in any gear and there is no feeling of it going
into gear but the gear selection control on the trans does move.
2. I was told (but can’t confirm) that there was no indication of the
trans failing (OD light flashing, slipping, hard shifts).
3. The Trans fluid is very high when checked idling in park (I think
this could mean the pump isn’t working). The fluid is a little darker
than normal but smells like regular Mercon.
4. I found these trouble codes stored:
a. PO500 – Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
b. P1506 – Idle Air Control Overspeed – The engine was idling high – I
cleaned the IAC, idle is now normal and no more code.
c. P1744 – Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Performance.
Can someone tell me the best way to proceed from here? My ’91 626 had
the same problem and it was stripped out splines in the torque converter.
Thanks for your time
Larry
What does cubic inch displacement really mean?
Hello,
I know, I’ve got such a novice question, but what does cubic inch
displacement really mean? I know it can be expressed in "cc"s or even
liters, but what is it really measuring?
Thanks,
Jeff
Starting car that has sat for YEARS
Does anyone have suggestions for starting a car that has been parked
for 10+ years?
1964 Ford, last started 10 years ago. Hoping to get feedback to safely
turn this engine over WITHOUT damage and then I will work my way
through the remainder of the car. Also any connections for replacement
parts.

Fuel Injectors?
2001 crown vic 4.6…suspect fuel injectors are leaking fuel into the
cylinders when sitting. How do i go about checking this problem?
1995 Dodge Caravan radiator drain valve
I changed the water pump, and now the drain valve will not stop
dripping. It’s about 1 drop every 3 seconds. How does the dang thing
come out so I can replace (I’m guessing here) the o-ring? It’s a plastic
petcock, kinda like a water faucet. The valve turns out about 1/4 to 1/2
turn, then catches some coarse threads to unscrew until it hits a stop.
Anyone know how to get it out?

1995 Lincoln Town Car rear wheel noise/brakes?
Bad metal to metal sound coming from passenger side rear wheel each
time wheel rotates to a certain position. When brakes are applied the
noise stops. Comments or suggestions?
